Comparative study of the Turkish single-party period and political system using first-hand original sources and within their historical and political contexts. Starting with the political situation and separations involved within the period of the War of Independence, that period�s impact on the period prior to the building of the Republic, until the end of the early Republican period, will be studied. This will include a comprehensive view of that whole period�s political, cultural, economical, foreign policy-related situation, in particular focusing on political organizations.
